I Like wow lore,art style,delves,pray,dungeons,m+,timewalking,raids,lorewalking,pet battles,class feel.Most of quality of life stuff.And forum.I like talking about wow.

I dont like,toxicity and silence sometimes in game community,but its a choice to be Silent.To be toxic is against tos,if its not it should! Also,i dont like that everything,all content is on click kill after couple of years.I understand that people dont wana hasle with mog and mounts farm,but i would like to have option.Its unmeasurable to me doing old quest and one shot all comparing to investing some effort.I also dont like that BiS item is obselete after couple of months..Epic used to stand for something.I dont feel powerfull anymore,its just like nice shirt I’ll change soon for another one.

I also dont like sub model,its somewhere in my mind to seaze the day,Maximum effort,be there,cause-time is money friend.And i dont Like it.Cant relax.While Blizz has all other means to make money too.And they are kinda,kinda,sloopy,could be interpreted as greedy,not sure,but i dont like it.

I explained em why im canceling my sub..Maybe its +1 to a change..

Anyways..I’ll probably be back,one or another way. I Depends whats next..Hoping i could settle some time in Classic +..

P.S. I will talk as much as i can in this forum cause i like it..

I prefer a sub model over free to play any day but we all have our own preferences.

You have an option.
You can freeze your xp gains and stay in an appropriate level for content as long as you want.

I personally would hate it if old content is made hard. The whole joy is one-shotting stuff after some time.

That way i can’t easily play current dungeons and raids…But yeah,there is an option.If i give that up.

You could have a max level character for endgame stuff.
And an alt with frozen leveling for low level content experienced at an appropriate level.
That way you don’t need to give up anything. You can do both; whenever you feel like it.

Of course the downside is: You probably won’t get many people to do old dungeons, let alone old raids. So it’d be mainly about old zone content.

All the best of luck and keep your eye on the game and it;s future progress. It seems like they are currently experimenting with various difficuliy modes, but keep in mind it a) new for them and they need to find a middle ground and b) this comes with its own set of problems like massively segregating the community. I know of one MMO that has that option and that is exaclty what happened. Just look at WMode vs PVE mode. Noblody wants to go into Wmode even if there are some benefiits.

yes yes, dont keep going to wow u pay the game 60€ u enjoy it for fhew months and if its not ur take just move stop the sub and play another game …

doing the same, dont like the slow pace and time gaiting second dont like the weekly Class changing it means Beta and alpha is doing nothing.

I don’t like sub model either. Everytime I come back to play I always feel like I have to play the full 30 days because it would be a waste of money if i don’t. Many times I feel like playing just acouple days or a week two weeks maybe but no way I’m coming back just for that and have the remaining days go to waste so I just end up not playing at all.

It’s € 12.99 a month. I spend more for cigarettes within a week. It’s about like one less meal at MickeyD (okay, I don’t go there anyway). Most people spend probably a lot more money each month for ubereats, pay tv or whatever.

So compared to all that, it’s surely not wasted when you don’t play the whole month :wink:

I’m from a country where people earn 1k euro a month not 5k. But it is not really the money it is about being efficient and not waste it. Even if I was a millionaire I would still have the same mentality. I would not sub if I won’t play the entire month. Easy as that.

What we compare is how much it costs per hour. At 13€/month (I don’t know how much it is in other countries) and around 8 hours per week of gameplay, it comes out to around 0.40€/hour (I included subscription only, I didn’t factor in cost of expansions). More hours than that means more efficient, less hours less efficient. Compared to other attractions, it’s very cost-efficient.

Directly comparing it to another video game: if you buy a new game for 60€ and spend 120 hours on it, that comes out to be less cost-efficient than the above example.

I bought path of exile 2 for 30 euro probably put in 1k hour in over a year. I bought Battlefield 6 (70 euro?) played it for 500 hours in 1 year. You pay for these once and you play forever. Wow’s subscription is predatory and preys on people that forgets to cancel it. That is why it is still a thing.

Wow has paid expansions, microtransaction shops, battlepass like features and subscription model. This is too much. Enough is enough. The game don’t provide nearly as much entertainment as it used to. If it was not for time gating the game would not last a week.
