no i never said that ? grinding the same dungeon over and over again is not hard content i literally gave the example of mage tower. stop assuming stuff to make yourself feel right.
proper players do want to do the same content which is half old btw for 6 months and think theyâre doing something good. go get a job or something
There is so much wrong with your statement I canât even. Raids and dungeons are a FEATURE of an mmorpg, it should never be the sole focus.
thinking that spending hours everyday on doing the same thing over and over again is fun is absurd but itâs a choice ofc and no one says that it should be removed. i just want to log in, do something challenging and rewarding then log off. if i wanted easy stuff i wouldnât be complaining here , everything about df is so easy, including raids and dungeons. i just donât want to spend that time doing that boring grind.
imagine if u guys managed to play any other game in your lives⌠it would be easier to communicate with you without you thinking this way. there are other mmos go try some instead of doing underrot for a few hundreds more times.
Wow, way to make stuff up. Got anything else to pull out of thin air?
Breaths and I are asking blizz to add things to the game for us and many others to enjoy.
Adding fun, casual things to a game is never a bad thing.
exactly. they can do that m+ grind if they want to but adding something casual will bring even more players since almost every week we see a post from a casual player saying theyâre quitting.
also;
casual doesnât mean easy content. difficulty levels exist.
Have a job. Have higher than caveman IQ. Win.
I come here for the same reason i go to the Zoo. I like to see apes in their natural habitat lmao
You want to make the team waste their time making proverbial treadmills to keep casuals entertained?
Pick herbs. Go on the forums and complain that being made to engage your brain or learn anything is literally genocide.
thereâs LOADS of content for you handsome devils.
Personally i dont want challenging content.
I play the game to just chill out.
What i want are daily quests and rep grinds.
Not player power but mounts and transmog.
New quests at different levels of rep.
I would also like to see the return of more puzzle based quests like the one with the overlapping lines.
I just want more to do.
We had lots we could do each day in the past. But then dragonflight threw that away and made this a once a week game. Its sad.
Casual content can and does engage your brain, too. Tell me, have you never played mmorpgâs for fun things to do on the side that are not raids/dungeons/pvp?
Itâs not always about progress, not for a lot of people. A lot of us play mmorpgâs for fun. Progressing is sweet but what matters the most is having fun and everyone has a different opinion about that. None of those opinions are wrong.
And no, it would not be a waste of the devâs time to NOT cater to YOU for a change. Donât be so entitled, you handsome devil.
ignoring everything else you said, feel free to explain what that is? It has to be content that can be done ad naseum.
I love m+ , itâs the same content. They donât use much resources to have us rerun the same thing over and over.
What you want (i imagine) is constant new content. Which just wonât happen
lmao youâre just a joke
they have no idea what casual content is because again ,probably this is the only game theyâve ever played so letâs not waste our time on explaining stuff to that person lol thinks heâs smart but yet casual content idea is herbing
You donât need to be a neckbeard to enjoy hard content or put effort in. You just donât want to try.
Then enlighten us? You wonât get content updates more than once every few months. You want torghast again? Is that it lol
MaKe CoNtEnT EaSy BuT iT hAs To LaSt
the state of casual players lol
you must be having hard time understanding , i told u that itâs not about diffculty and i donât find m+ or raids hard in this game right now. theyâre scripted , rehearsed content that only important thing is timing which is boring.
i donât expect constant updates. they can put something like torghast, mage tower , more dailies that reward something good after you do them for a while , open world stuff like covenants but donât make them a must for everyone and make them give good cosmetics titles etc. (renowns are really bad at rewards and not even close to covenant campagins. ) and once you implement something itâs easier to continue adding to it.
for example in tbc you have isle dailies that rewards rep and title at the end thatâs one as a daily quest example. AND these are just examples from wow , other games have different stuff like crafting dailies , daily q rewards coming from doing x amount of dailies, solo challenges thatâs almost as hard as raids , open world content that has engaging aspects like jumping puzzles etc. and many more.
I donât mind more world content as long as it doesnât have stacking rewards used in dungeons and raids. Donât wanna be forced into another korthia as someone who hates dailies and WQs.
Repetitive content doesnât necessitate that its 100% boring. PvP guys have been playing on the same maps for like years and they still continue to do do. Looking outside WoW, some shooters have the same map for like 10 years and people are still having a blast there.
All that sounds nice and dandy. But knowing the average âcasual playerâ, unless it rewards a 475 wep with 3 sockets in the end then its ânot worth doingâ.
Have you played FFXIV? Like, at all? There is the gold saucer providing many mini games, jackpots, racing, vermillion and so much more you can do ad nauseum for fun.
There is hunts where you hunt monsters all over the world solo or in a group for currency that you can spend on various things, such as transmogs, furniture and what not. Hunting monsters isnât your thing? How about actual treasure hunts sending you all over the world to find treasure chests?
You have housing that you can spend months on to perfect your abode. Crafting ties into this as does gathering.
None of these are progress oriented or have anything to do with dungeons/raids/pvp. None of these need constant updates either.
I can list a lot more than those three
