Last I remember these granted more xp and gold. (9k xp and 9-10g) now it only gives 2g and less xp.
Was this really necessary? do you think extra 1k is too much for someone who spends 1-2 hrs gathering buckets? Wow token sales marketing strategy?

Why are you farming buckets for candies? That canât be fun as there are no new rewards. You should be enjoying the lovely level scalling and new level expirence either in or out of Chromie time. Thatâs the fun stuff because itâs new and just been released.

Huh, even more reason not to bother going round these buckets then⌠I checked and canât see any achievements for doing buckets after Pandaria - is that correct? A bit disappointing as I was keen to fly about and get some achievements!
But Blizz worked hard on the new stuff and they told us it would be fun so we should be doing it because if we donât then we wonât be having fun because the old stuff isnât fun anymore because Blizz want us to play the fun new stuffâŚ

In all seriousness, the Hallowâs End achievements havenât been updated for a couple of expansions now and nothing new added for I think 2-3 years now.
It might be a direct result of the squish, theyâve applied some calculation in the background to âRebalanceâ daily quest XP and Gold rewards and as a result this has been impacted.
IIRC Holidayâs like Midsummer and Hallowâs end were a great way to level up Alts because of the Daily Quests like Candy Buckets so maybe thatâs why
gold isnât reason people gathering them, because even 10g isnât worth trouble
Iâm disappointed there are no new costumes to buy either. I kinda expected to see a new one this year. I was waiting for a âExquisite Costume Set: Valeera Sanguinarâ, but sadly it didnât happen.
Since hoods with visible hair for players not gonna happen for some time, as itâs obvious by the situation. I thought at least I could play with her model because she has a hood with visible hair. Maybe next year, I hopeâŚ
Also I donât really get the reasoning behind this nerfs to gold. This just hurts the casual players that are trying to get some gold, it wouldnât effect the multiboxers/botters, imo.

I think it is because we are level 50 now so we get gold that lvl 50 characters used to get. As far as i remember amount of gold depended on your level also before. So we are not getting âmax level goldâ now but same amount someone who is still leveling would get.
It annoyes me there is so much this kind of things in game now, where tuning was not finished properly but just left like it was.

After Pandaria all Blizzard has added is one or two buckets per expansion, too few for an achievement. I think there is one in the garrison, one in Legion Dalaran, and one in Bolarus/Drazalor, not even enough for a single achievement with the 3 expansions combined.

If you loot candy say every minute you get 600g per hour if candy worth 10g? 600g/hour isnât really something people would do for gold you know?

meanwhile candy bucket 2g. it was 9-11g i cant exactly remember last year and it made a nice reward for flying all over the world
