Cannot access PTR

Hi

I want to tryout the PTR with the 8.1.5 patch on, however when I try to create a PTR account it says ‘You have reached the maximum number of allowed accounts’.

  • World of Warcraft® (WoW1)
    Europe
  • World of Warcraft® (WoW1)
    Public Test Realm
  • World of Warcraft® (WoW2)
    Public Test Realm

Those are the accounts that I have for WoW on my Blizzard Account Game & Subs page, but when I go into my Battle net client they show as;

  • Battle for Azeroth
  • Beta: WoW1 = Battle for Azeroth
  • Beta: WoW3 = Battle for Azeroth

I have tried installing & logging into these Regions/Accounts but it won’t let me past the login screen, so I don’t think PTR is either of those?

I have downloaded & installed the PTR exe that can be downloaded on the client page but I am met with the same error, ‘You can’t install this game yet.’ More help: BLZBNTBNA000000C8

Am I doing something incorrect?

Hey Raeh,

As the error message indicated, this happens when you have a certain number of accounts active. This can at times be caused by older PTR/Beta accounts as well. It looks like this was resolved through a ticket with support directly. :slight_smile:
