anybody else cannot add sockets to necklace?
I’m going to assume it’s due to you trying to use a S3 thing on a S4 item.
did the neck enchant change?
I thought it was always the same during all seasons?
Check the tooltip it will tell you for which season item it is. You can still use the JC Tiered Medallion setting to add up to two or three.
i got my ilvl 499 necklace, so it is from this season.
but all 3 quality tiered medallions don’t work.
Worked for me on the pvp necklace. I placed 2 silver and 1 gold in that order.
if it’s Timewalking reward/drop - you can’t add sockets to those.
no was from a +5 dungeon 
maybe bugged because it came with 1 socket already…
it says that the quality of the tiered medailion is too low
Just had a look at the vendor next to Vault of disappointment and noticed he no longer sells the sockets either. What gives ???
I just looked and it does still sell them, for half price. Only need 3 tokens for a socket now.

I looted a Ouroboreal Necklet from the Timewalking cache. It already had 1 socket but I am not able to add the 2nd or 3rd with a rank 2 or 3 Tiered Medallion Setting.
I have the same issue, dropped Custodian’s Medallion of Delusion with a socket but cannot use tiered medallion settings (rank 3) to add additional sockets.
I am quite certain it is caused by the socket it procced.

for me it was fixed
