prepare yourself for another 3 hours at least =) it would suprise me if it would be a 8 hour offline =) its happened before
I got the same message, more or less, from tech support, “servers will be running within the hour and gametime will be refunded double to make up for current and past lost game time.”
“Additionally, as you missed several hours play time towards your last week for R14 we arranged with your boss to have the rest of the week off, your kids to be picked up and dropped to school, and a week of fresh delivered foodstuffs to keep you at your best for the ranking ahead.
And Bobby said he would walk your dog.”

Getting this error since approx 1 hour when trying to connect to bnet launcher.
Well authenticating, the biggest problem anno 2023 for blizz it seems. At least when most of the players have left due to unstable servers we had no queue anymore on stitches, not we cannot login. What comes next? They accidently delete our characters and have no backup?

Welcome to the age of technical rot, my boy. As electricity gets more scarce and technicians keep leaving the IT & Gaming industries, we’re going to see more of this and it won’t just be Blizzard impacted.
This is what happens when everything is dependent on cloud services, the bloating of server rooms and overglorified apps that are just websites with a fancier UI.
Ain’t the future exciting?
