All i saw there was some mention of them having a live maintenance on october 4th, perhaps this is what we are getting now and they forgot to tell us here

That’s impossible.
It’s 6:12AM on the East Coast, however, most of the tech personal is on the West Coast. It’s 3:12AM there rn.

It’s unrelated as most of the EU servers are in France, physically. So the repairmen are already awake probably and they’re on it.

Wrong on both accounts. Most of the Blizz EU servers are located in Germany [Frankfurt and Dusseldorf]. Only the French realms are located in Paris.
And the EU tech guys are only proficient at doing what they’re being told to do by their U.S. bosses.
