The server issues we are experiencing intermittantly should not be affecting the ability to claim codes, at least as far as we know. If you still have problems claiming a code and you have made sure it’s typed correctly and all that, I recommend creating a ticket to our support team who will be able to check the code out for you. 
Thanks for the reply. I tried again few hours later and it was fine, must have been some server problems anyway.
