Hey all,
I was also struggling with not being able to see the guild chat for last 2 weeks after I did a realm transfer. I finally fixed the issue with a lot of trial and error.
This is what ended up working for me:
Firstly I repaired my wow installation from bnet then logged in.
While in game went to the community tab, for some reason even though I was in a guild I could still apply to any guild, so I applied for the guild that my character currently was in.
After applying I “/gquit” the guild and asked an officer of the guild to accept my request and everything seemed to work after that.
I did not close the community tab during quitting and rejoining. After rejoining the guild I got back all the usual Guild functionality .
Yes, and that’s good for characters who are ok with leaving and rejoining the guild. but those who don’t want to leave for even 1 second, well, those are doomed on waiting for the second fix.
It appears that my characters have had this issue fixed. I can see the guild panel and both guild chat in it and in ordinary chat. At least on the Kazzak server that is.
Great news - the heal-up I mentioned in my previous response appears to have gone through and we expect the issue to be resolved for everyone who reported it. If anyone still experiences this then please ensure you close down the game and perform a full Interface Reset to ensure your WoW will start with default settings and new game data loaded up instead of cached game files which may be outdated.
If there’s anyone who still experiences this issue after making sure the above steps have been performed fully then please report this via a ticket to our Customer Support team.
Still not working, did full Interface reset and still nothing. Im the only one in my guild and don’t want to /gquit. It took me long time just to find people willing to sign the charter so i can put my alts in. So please fix it.
