This has happened twice now, I find my character unable to strafe left or right - even after multiple /reload and restarts. Eventually I have traced it to dragonriding, it happens if I am mounted and then enter a dungeon - maybe. I am not sure of all the circumstances.
yeah this is a thing. it was hard to reproduce and hard to fix.
first time i managed to fix with a combination of mounting up on normal mount and reload. that didn’t work second time.
got it just as i entered a lfg dungeon and promptly realized no way i will be doing this without without sidestep. told party, of course party already in combat negating my ability to port out to mount up and fix it. eventually i got out, i did not manage to fix it. went on with logout and as soon as i was back and had it magically fixed “you have been removed from group” with 30 min deserter.

My guildmate had this once and he had to restart his PC to fix it.
No idea what caused it. He noticed it when we entered algethar academy M0.
For me using Soar fixed it.
Still dont know how to reproduce tho.
yup, happened to me today going into a LFD…I didnt tell anybody and just hoped they didnt noticed that I never turned sideways!!LOL
Could it be related to having add-ons installed ?
I don’t have DF, but I never experienced that problem. The only add-on I have is a gun sound.

it’s related to dragonriding and how the dragon don’t have a native sidestep, but still use the same buttons. something like that.

I removed all addons made no dfference.

It’s not addons or settings. It’s a code bug. If you never want to trigger it dismount before accepting an LFG queue (teleport to instance).
