Cannot Turn in Reconstructing The Curse of Stone

I cannot submit this quest to Wrathion to turn in, I receive the following error message:
Duplicate item found

I looked in inventory and cannot find this item at all to delete the duplicate.

I have no upgrades available for the cloak to spend the item on.

I am having the same issue. I have a topic and nobody answered not even ticket.

I figured it out. Touch the corrupting core item in your inventory, then touch your cloak core k to upgrade it. After you do this, you can turn in the next quest.

You will receive another corrupting core , touch that one and then touch your cloak to upgrade it.
