Hey guys! I was on a break from WoW for more than a year and I decided to come back again (level 45, stopped playing after Legion). However, I’m having issues with unlocking Nightborne. I already have Exalted with them and the starting quest from the ‘‘Insurrection’’ achievement do not show. I’ve read that you have to have ‘‘Arluin’s Request’’ finished as well, but I cannot find her anywhere on the map. I’ve cleared all the quests in Suramar and I don’t know what’s wrong. Is it because of the Newcomer status I got (I already have 60+ days played)? The only quest that showed in the Embassy was the Highmountain one, which I finished and I also have the achievement completed but the race won’t show. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I am unfortunately not sure what the specific problem is, but there are some problems with allied races and people, who have been away a longer time or are entirely new to the game. A couple of questions and some quick thoughts… First, have you got “Trivial quests” turned on for your minimap? Second, is level 45 the highest you have on your account? Third, are the allied races entirely absent (as in not grayed out, but entirely not there at all), when you are in the character creation screen? If the answer to first question is no, try turning it on and look around Suramar again, just in case. Second question, if the answer is yes, try reaching level 50. Third question, if the answer is yes, see question two. Bonus question four… Is your overall achievement progress as follows: “Nightfallen but not forgotten” completed, “Good Sumaritan” completed, “Insurrection” nothing or something else?
If none of this helps at all, please post again. I woke up way too early, so I need to get more sleep for now.

I have the same problem as you but for the Zandalari trolls. It’s incredibly frustrating!
I came back after 3 years and found myself at 45. On my end, I had exalted with all factions from before and the quest lines completed, so the Nightborne and Highmountain unlock quests were available to me. There I can’t help.
I had the same issue with unlocked races not showing up on character creation screen, despite having tens of days played on several characters. It was only after I hit 50 that they really unlocked for character creation.
So ignore all the gimmicks and fixes because they’re a waste of time if you’re below 50. Highmountain will unlock for you at that point. I hope you can figure out what quest you’re missing for Nightborne.
