so i am a vet player returning, I rolled a druid took it through the new start, then went to chromie but couldnt access it and instead was shoved into bfa. any clue what im doing wrong. chromie just said come back after a tour of the city but i had done that
Not sure about it but did you play BfA before? Since it’s a requierement If I remember it correctly.
ya i did though i havent totally finished it all, my understanding is you could still do chromie time. my horde had hardly touched bfa and could do chromie time so im confused
Might be a Bug then. A few players had some issues with Chromie after all.
According to some of the Forum Threads.
Especially if it worked for the other character but not for this one.
Edit: Just to be sure might as much look what other players did to get it working. One got the Chromie quest through Adventurers Journal then it worked.
solution: I needed to do the jailbreak in bfa to unlock chromie…no idea why this is needed. now off to outlands!!!

Information about how things are supposed to work is scant at the moment, so this may help other people.
@Arawen, Gráinne: I have not had time for extensive testing, but I believe some problems are somehow related to different timelines having overlapping phasings and this plays all sorts of havoc on certain things. Some of my alts have quests in Stormwind that they can not turn in, because the quest ending NPC is in some other phase.
@Gráinne: Since you spend more time here than I currently can, you might want to pass on the idea of checking whether there are unfinished starting quest lines, if similar problems pop up. BfA start is one possible culprit, but there are likely a few others. I will let you know, if I find out anything more precise. Thanks and good night!

since your level is 120 have you logged in with that character?
Also if you take a tour of the city it assumes you are new.
hi it was the result of me needing to do the start to bfa to unlock chromie time rather than allowing me the option straight off the bat to pick a timeline. My understanding is a new toon of a vet plyer (ie already done bfa) should be able to clear exiles reach then pick a timeline without having to do any of BFA. This is not what happened. Maybe it will work once SL drops.
If you do Exile’s Reach then you have to do intro to BfA before you can do Chromie Time. Only after jailbreak you get achievement for completing Exile’s Reach.
