Can't access old email

I am currently subscribed and have been continuously since some time in BFA (maybe 8 years or so) and played off and on before that. I recently found that the email against my bnet has been made inactive by my ISP as I hadn’t accessed it for more than a year and now they say they can’t recover it.

I have no problems playing atm but I’m considering getting a new PC in a few months so if I need to setup WoW on a new PC and they send a code to the email associated with my bnet account I won’t be able to access it. I’ve had a look in account management to see if I can update my new email (with my current ISP) but verification is asking for my phone number - which has changed a couple of times and I’ve no idea what my phone no. was 8 years ago, plus my landline was turned off by BT as part of their policy of moving everyone from copper to web.

So I’m a bit stuck at the moment and don’t know what I need to do to change my old email to my current one. Any help appreciated.

Edit : ofc I can prove my identity simply by cancelling my sub as I am the cardholder but then I wouldn’t be able to get back in if I try to get back in and my email is “invalid”.

You definitely should have an up to date email and phone number on your account to ensure ease of access and possible recovery if the need ever arises.

If you’re stuck in a situation where you can’t update those yourself then the links should direct you on how to open a ticket so the support team can help with that.
