Can't access Pre-BFA Undercity Phase

Ever since the release of The War Within, Tirisfal’s Cataclysm phase has been bugged, with the Ruins of Lordaeron being visually bugged as if they had the same green blight effect as the BFA version of Lordaeron Keep. This bug is also featured in one of the new videos uploaded to World of Warcraft’s official channel, even though accidentally.

It might not seem like much of a game impeding bug, but it is a zone phase that was often used by undead roleplayers, as it was far more tedious to ask to newcomers to do several questlines to unlock the new phase, only for said new phase to be severely lacking compared to Stormwind, Gilneas or Bel’ameth.

I, many friends of mine, and many others who roleplay undead would greatly appreciate if something could be done about either the meager state of 9.2.'s Lordaeron Keep as it stands only for it to be locked behind a lengthy questline, or for the Cataclysm version to be fixed.

Edit: I’ve been told by some of my friends that it isn’t just a visual bug to some. In some of their characters, this blight that’s accidentally present in Cataclysm’s Lordaeron Keep has killed them - as well as Brill and the road leading to it, despite that Blight visual effect not being present - making the zone not just confusing to use, but actually unusable for roleplay, as well as killing unlucky players trying to get out of the Undercity or taking part in the Hallow’s End event that’s soon to come.

People now and since bfa actively avoid this beautiful zone because with the 10000 different phasings + this bug its just impossible to use it.

It isn’t just visual, it actually kills you. I imagine this is going to prevent everybody on Horde from participating in the Wickerman event and accessing the Hallow’s End vendors if it isn’t fixed by the time the holiday starts.

Hello folks. I’m currently unable to access pre-BFA Lordaeron for Hallow’s End, with the NPC who allows you to transfer back completely MIA.

I’m playing an Earthen at level 71 who hasn’t done any BFA content if that matters at all.

When we use the UnderCity Teleport in Orgrimmar ,
They Send it instantly inside the City
while the plague Debuff is working until the Toon die :nauseated_face: :face_with_head_bandage: The new Current Time BFA **after the Battle. ***
So We should Go to Eastern Kingdom by any path > Changing The Timeline >
We could play the Game :unamused:

Understandably it’s not exactly the warm welcome you’d expect from the Forsaken and their beautiful Undercity (or maybe it is, but still!), and we’re looking into possible changes to help with this going forward.

But this is a bug, right? The phrasing in the support article suggests that this is supposed to happen, but the phasing of the zone wasn’t behaving like this until the 11.0 prepatch.
