I lvld up warlock, didn’t stick with me, I got free boost, since I wanted to play priest, I used it on priest, but now, after a month, I just feel empty… So I’ve bee nooking into other alternatives… I come up with either druid, monk or evoker… I played druid some time ago, but stopped for the same reason… When it comes to druids I am torn between the visuals of the class and the whole aesthetics and the mechanics, I like the style, but not the mechanics… I should mention that I really like transmogs/style of characters, classes, races… When it comes to monk, I like the mistweaver spec and the style of if, even the mechanics, but I can’t decide which race to pick for it, because my favorite races don’t suit the monk class for me. When it comes to evoker, it’s something new and it looks nice and interesting, also it removes the unnecessary leveling until lvl 60…
Yes, I am a wuss, but these things really matter to me, since I don’t want to lvl up character to lvl 70 and then find out that I don’t like it… Like with the priest, I kinda regret using the boost on it… I know the advices for this type of problems are usually the same, but if anyone has any personal experience with simillar issue, please help me, I really am struggling because of this since it prevents me from enjoying the game to it’s fullest and play over all.
I do struggle playing one character as well, I can never choose what to pick. So instead, this expansion, since I’m not doing m+ or raiding anything above LFR, I pick the character I feel to play the most when I log in. I have one for all my favourite classes (priest, warrior, warlock, mage, paladin, rogue, monk, hunter) and I decide based on how I wake up in the morning.
Will try that one definitely. I just discarded the idea of druid, since I found out evokers can equip leather armor, which is my most favourite type of gear. And I like it more. So I’m gonna do a little bit of monk and a little bit of evoker so I can just find out how they feel to play and maybe I will stick to both. Tho I can already say that I am healer type of player since all specs I like are always the healing ones.
Also the balance spec with the glyph that makes your moonkin form astral, but it still removes the point of transmogs when all you see is blue starry character.
I would go with monk myself.
Its a lot of fun. Covers all 3 roles. Looks cool. You get to ride on a cloud.
If i didnt prefer playing ranged, i would have seriously considered maining one. Sometimes i still consider switching to one.
Have you tried playing around a little bit with the class tryouts?
They’re not entirely accurate to how the classes play fully geared because the stats are a little messed up but they helped me choose when I got super bored of paladin when I started.
Also b/v/nelf are the only valid options for race anyways
Leveling is really fast, don’t worry about that.
If you would want to go Horde, then shaman is a great choice. Horde just has cooler races for shaman. You have 3 versatile specs like the druid without hiding your armor when shapeshifted. Great class fantasy using the elements of nature if that’s your thing.
We all have to admit that mail has some of the worst transmogs but still few decent ones. Depending on what race you choose you could use the heritage armor. Or use some store cosmetics. Fingers crossed the Trading Post will have something decent.
Depending on your kind of playstyle, you don’t have to settle on 1 main, the game has evolved past that, unless you are actively pushing higher end content in raid, m+ or pvp.
If you are looking for a main tho, I would recommend you to pick a class that offers more variety in their playstyle, so that if it gets boring, you can switch it up. Shaman has Ranged, Melee and Heal, Druid has literally every kind of spec (tank, heal, melee & ranged), Monk and Paladin.
Hybrid classes can maybe help you spice up your gameplay without having to create a new character
