So im in a group playing the game tanking away then all of a sudden i cant click anything, cant click the menu, spells, need or greed rolls nothing, The only thing i can do is click my keybinds, In order to fix this i have to Cntl tab out or /reload a few times mid combat.
I just wanna know if there is a fix for this. I do not have discord overlay on its also hard to try and recreate this as it just happens randomly
A lot of this does sound like some form of overlay getting in the way. It doesn’t necessarily have to be created by Discord though - several other programs, e.g. Overwolf, Nahimic, and many of the “utility tools” of video cards, also create (often transparent) overlays as well.
I dont have any of these, I think it may be an addon but its hard to recreate the break ;-; Also unsure to check if its an addon doing it without turning them off
You could potentially use the /FSTACK command to highlight all UI elements created/modified by addons, but the game isn’t really playable while that mode is active - this is a pure debugging tool for addon-makers (repeat the command to disable the mode). Generally speaking, just fully removing all addons and their cached data would seem to be the much cleaner and easier option here.
