We got a character signed, name filled in and when i hand it in the game becomes completely unresponsive. It says “guild already exists” and can’t press anything, the menu buttons also can’t be clicked. The guild name does not seem te exist but there is a guild with the same word in the name. What is going on here? We checked both horde and alliance numerous times but /who doesn’t make the guild name pop up at all.

I have exactly the same happen to me. Have the charter in it’s original form but nothing happens and it prompts also “guild name already exists”

We have a theory that it’s shared across rule sets, we found our guild name on the PvE rule set, but we are on PvP and can’t create our guild with a fully signed charter.
Have the same issue.. Since I could enter the name when buying the charter, I expect the name to be locked for my guild. So I hope Blizzard corrects this issue soon.

We are having the simmilar issue with our guild name !
Some of our signatures have accounts that activated through the codes that were sent out. “Try the game for 7 days - No restrictions” kinda thing.
I think it’s caused by that.
Maybe the accounts are flagged as trial accounts and it’s messing with the server when it’s trying to process the information.
