I was leveling through Bastion and was getting drops and quest rewards.But i cant DE either. Any body noticed similar thing?
Did you buy the shadowlands enchanting?
First thing i do each expansion is to log in on my char and start my primary professions at least .
And i think it wouldnt say “Item cant be disenchanted” if i didnt have profession.
Items can be disenchanted as long as (Classic) Enchanting is learned and is at least at skill 1, right?
yes, noticed it today. Only difference here is this toon i am using i just rerolled to enchanting from leatherworking. All i have is Runed Copper Rod.
On my other enchanters, i have one of those BLUE enchanting rods…which…if you have it already made, still is “working”, but cannot be obtained anymore.
Maybe items cant be DE’ed since they require a higher level enchanting rod which you can no longer get as they were removed?
Would be nice with a #Blizzard comment.
This is not addon related. Tried to disable all addons, and it still says it cannot DE any of the Shadowlands items.
EDIT: 8th December 2020: Seems to have been hotfixed. all the items i could not DE yesterday of blue and green and epix from shadowlands can now be DE’ed. It is strange since patch notes from 7th don’t mention anything about this…so maybe the underlaying cause was one of the other things fixed?
