The launcher is stuck on innitialising. I’ve tried all the methods for fixing it online. Starting it as admin and so on. Nothing helps. I just tried starting another download via the launcher and that works fine.

I’ve tried to compeltely uninstall the blizzard launcher and it does nothing. Its still stuck on initializing on wow. I can download d2r though just fine
Hi Sagemode,
There are a couple of reasons that this could be happening. The most common, is having the Battle.net App installed on a drive other than the one your Operating System is on. While you can have your games installed elsewhere, the App should be on your OS drive, otherwise there can be issues with file permissions that stop it creating and updating files.
If you have it on another drive, uninstall the App, and reinstall it on your main OS drive. You may need to manually locate your game installs once you’ve done that, but you won’t have to redownload everything.
Another potential cause, is a downloaded file becoming corrupt, either because of the previously mentioned permissions issues, security software interfering, or an internet hiccup. To clean out the temporary files, you can follow the steps outlined here:
I removed everything as per the instructions. I installed the launcher again on my OS harddrive. I can download wrath just fine but i cant download retail wow(and its the same wow folder with a retail and a classic subfolder).
Did you get this fixed or did you find yourself a fix?
