Why am I send to US forums every time?
I manually have to write eu.forums.blizzard.com to get to the EU forums.
They do “Browser Language Sniffing” to save costs on having to pay for access to a IP Geolocation Database, to decide if they are going to redirect you to the eu or the us forums.
Unfortunately, both Firefox and Chrome install English EN_us as the default language pack (US English), and not EN_gb. That means Blizzard assumes anyone with a default configuration in their browser, needs to be redirected to the US.
So I would check (and change if required) your browser’s language configuration.

That’s interesting, i always have the same problem as op and and never found out what causes this kind of nonsense. Thank you for information.
Tbh. a really bad solution since you cant choose “English EU/UK” …
I don’t want my chrome in my native language, since the translations are so bad. It’s also easier to google where to click in English => getting directions in English => for the English interface.
9/10 people I know has their chrome in English.
R.I.P me I guess, and the rest of the European population whom wants their browser in English.

When you visit https://worldofwarcraft.com/ scroll down to the bottom of the page and select English (EU). When you click the forums you should be directed to https://eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/ . If you are not, be aware cookie/tracker blockers may prevent proper redirection, or block you from saving your options. White-listing our sites in your chosen browser and addons maybe necessary in this event.
Cleared all cookies, and allowed all cookies
The button English (EU) in the bottom of the page redirects me to to /en-gb however if i visit worldofwarcraft.com/ again it redirects me to /en-us
Will I have to scroll to the bottom of the page every time i don’t write /en-gb and or use /en-gb manually every time ?
Every single one of the forum links on https://eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/blizzard/ redirect me to the US versions. No blockers installed. My browser language is Dutch. And guess what, it also happens on my phone and my tablet, one English and one Dutch. This only started happening when this page got an overhaul.
Your suggestion is really to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page to change language every time, instead of Blizzard making sure their EU-GB website links to their other EU-GB websites? This is not a user problem, this is a Blizzard problem.
Can someone help me please? I don’t know what to do My Firefox is freaking out every time I try to go to ANY Blizz forum. It starts a never ending cycle. It first redirects me to the latest forum topic that I had a comment at then it keeps refreshing that page like a never ending story. What do I need to do to make it stop? I just click a button and like a ghost it keeps reloading without me even pushing the refresh button… the fudge is this?
If I use Explorer it works, I popped back Explorer on to just have this comment posted, otherwise I cant even get to a phase where the blizzard forum stops reloading on my Firefox…
Press CTRL+Shift+Delete. Time range to clear, everything, tick every box, Clear now.
