Can't find mail recipient!

I am trying to send a heirloom item to my lvl 9 rogue, but it says "Can't find mail recipient". The charecter is on a different realm, but i thought they changed that "realm bound" thing.

You have to add realmname in name box forexample your druid whould be
Quakeman-Magtheridon
if your other char is on a realm where the name has spaces leave those out.

I see what's wrong. Lets say I want to send an heirloom to my Pandaren monk Xanhu on Argent Dawn from this realm.

To do it, in the mail recipient box, I would type "Xanhi-ArgentDawn." I believe you're not putting in the realm name after the character name with a dash between them. If the realm has two words for a name, put them together as one word, but keep the capital letters.

it works both with the spaces and without the spaces - i know, i send stuff from defias brotherhood to sporeggar and back a fair bit....and other realms, but using defias brotherhood as the base line - it takes
tabori-defias brotherhood and tabori-defiasbrotherhood

You cannot send anything else than Account Bound items (No gold or just).

No, you wouldn't you would type Xanhu-ArgentDawn

im trying to send some gold from one of my alts to another alt (and they are on the same realm) but it just says: can't find mail recipient, does someone know anything that could fix it?

Are they the same faction?

I have the same problem, I'm trying to send some gold and it says the same thing and both of my chars are on the same realm and same faction

Probably a spelling mistake or something... download the postal addon then log onto the character u want to send to and then the one you want to send from... there will be a drop-down menu with you're alts' name on it next to the space for recipient... Delete addon when done... Not an ideal solution but it should work :o)

EDIT: btw, next time make a new post rather than reviving one from 6months ago :o)

didint work for me idk

and i try to send gold from my alt to my main " in the same relam "

still same the problem

Can happen when the character name has accented characters.

Surely it’s easier to just create a new one from your collection.
