I exclusively use tricks on Tank, im not going to change my poisons unless absolutely necessary since it affects not just damage but rotation

Whit good macro you soud own at least 8 weponse for a better fan of knives with heavy hammer, daggers for other fights and poison for short fight, dot+instant poison for longer ones/boss and no aggro one when you are a bit high on aggro ( i had those 10 years agi, and it foes miracles)
If you were tank people would at least expect this much optimisation
I like rogues, rogues are nice
I know all that but aggro is not an issue in WOTLK.
In my groups, even if tank forgets his 80% increased threat buff then heās still keeping aggro.
Either LFG or Cross Faction Looking for Group thingy, but you can only see people from other realms inside the dung, would make sense.
After getting full pre-bis(and now raiding), holy pre-bis, afew ret pieces and the white bird from the boxes Iāve cut back on running heroics a lot.
I still do the daily emblems of valor/justice quests and a VH for the trinket but iām basically done after that.
Itās probably the same story for most other Main Spec tank players like me.
The problem is all these warriors, DKs and paladins who refuse to play Prot and just want to zugzug DPS.
I think at this point Blizzard needs to understand that people just donāt want to tank if they donāt want to tank and the nerf to the gift box (barely any flasks anymore)doesnāt help.
Blizzard needs to add RDF with phase 2 otherwise the pre-raid gearing scene is gonna be extremely bad and filled with gold sellers selling carriesā¦etc

It would, by firstly enticing tanks for a quick group and summon as well as helping tanks who are already in a group with a friend but dont wanna bother making a lfg
Oh but thatās why theyāre adding heroic+ which will be a new spicy hard challenge to content for people who need naxx 10 geā¦ oh, right, people who need naxx 10 gear canāt be expected to do hard content so I guess thatās out the window too.

Learn how to quest efficiently, there are helpful guides out there that make leveling as good if not better than dungeon spamming. Use your time to learn this instead of coming here on the forums and complaining about not finding a tank. Be more productive with your time.

I am currently slowly leveling a tank blood dk and most of the times people are patient with me. I do type in the LFG ānot a bot irlā so I am guessing that is translated to ālearningā. It is fun to tank and I am enjoying it but it can be stressful and I have had to give the tanking to a plate wearer after tilting because of a wipe, whether it was my fault or not.

they decided to not implement human lfg sadly
All that because 25 ppl raid needs only 2-3 tanks not 5. With 2 tanks 6 healers and 17+1 on bench dps you get a nasty proportion where 2 groups have full set of roles and 4 groups have only a healer and 3 dps.
A guaranteed dps offspec item from the tank/healer box would definitely helped out.

I made 2 tanks for WOTLK and geared them pre raid bis, and I would make 2 more tanks if only we had RDF to help us leveling. I like tanking for me it is so fun. With 4 tanks and RDF I would play 2 dungeons on each and that is 8 dungeon tanks from me daily. But since no RDF, I just do 2 dailies atm, not writing a single word on party chat, just because of fake āanti socialā argument someone attached to RDF.
