I am on the 2nd last mission to get Shadowmourne, however I do not have Shadow’s edge on me or in the bank, I found out that I could get it by talking to Darrion, but I do not seem to have that option. It’s not in my bags/bank or void storage.
Worth mentioning that I can’t restore the item as it’s been a long while since I was on this char, also I keep getting an error. Also, that the character doing this mission is not this character but another.
Hey, guess what i got a response to my ticket 4h later… telling me to try wowhead or recovering the or post on the forum to get help HAHHAHAHAH - so ye i guess i am waiting a long time for this.
If you are hoping that a GM will see your post, and assist you by giving you the required item, I hate to inform you, that the forum staff, while being Blizzard employees, are not GM’s, and can’t assist with in-game issues other than by giving advice.
Even if they were, its been stated by Blizzard in the past, that the forums aren’t an alternative to the ticket queue.
You are going to have to ticket an actual GM from in-game, along with all the painful trash that is involved in doing that, if you want a GM to intervene. However, it seems to be a general policy these days that GM’s do not send people lost or missing items, if they can’t be recovered via item restoration. But it never hurts to ask, I guess.

I honestly tried to open a ticket, but the process was way weirder than I remembered it and the end of it was always something like - after you sent this, i tried again and was able to get to the part of SUBMITTING a ticket - there should always be an option that’s faster to reach within 3 buttons if possible.
But hey, the forum did help me

As you noted Mograine should be providing a new copy to characters who need it, though there are a few edge cases where this is not working as expected.
There is a fix coming for that in 11.0.5 though, so give it another try after that and you should be able to get it done!

It’s a little sad knowing that I have to wait till .5 to get the rewards, but fine - fair enough I guess ty for the information!
I have the same problem still right now in 11.1.7 (and before). Was the solution delayed or is this the different issue in the same fashion?
