Can't install Classic

Hi!

I can’t install World of Warcraft Classic. I had it installed last week when you could reserve names and everything worked fine. Yesterday when I where to log in and finally play it just said that all servers where incompatible. I tried everyone of the listed solutions but nothing works. And as I said before, now I can’t even install the classic client anymore. When I press install the little window pops up where I’m supposed to choose directionary but it just loads.

Can you try reinstalling your battle net client?

As Disq mentioned, please try re-installing the Blizzard Desktop App and try the installation once more afterwards. If that still does not work out, it might be that something is causing a bit of trouble for you in the background. Go through the steps to close background applications and retest.

Thanks for the reply but that did not help me. I have reinstalled both the classic client and battle net cllient. But after the 3rd time of reinstalling the battle net I can no longer install the classic client.

Can you tell us the version number of your battlenet client please.

You need to take out a supprt ticket then.

I’ve tried that 5 times. Every time I click send it can’t load the page. Something is seriously wrong with all my blizzard services

So use the web-interface instead of the in-game one.

That’s what I’ve been doing, eveytime I click continue after filling every box the side wont load and the ticket is not sent

if you are including files (for example: a scan of your ID), you will need to ensure it complies with the filesize requirements, otherwise it will throw an error.

Why can’t you? It’s just showing the pop-up and that’s it? You will really need to create a support ticket. Please try another browser like Internet Explorer.

Thanks for trying these things so far. Could you login to your current WoW account for me (Battle for Azeroth), and see if that works out normally? Once you have done that (please log into a character completely), retry Classic once more.

Regarding the ticket issues:
Please go through the steps to refresh your cache, and disable any browser extensions/add-popup blockers that might be active.

I have now come to realize that my IP is banned. Shared internet from my phone to computer and I could both download and play the game. Don’t know why and how this could happend.

Any idea if it’s some kind of permanent ban or just a suspension?

I doubt Blizzard would’ve IP banned you, but it’s something for them to look at. Can you give the public IP here?

Also check with your ISP if they have not routed it incorrectly.

Were can I find my public IP?

just google “whats my ip”

Though it would be odd they banned your ip. Because most people change there IP in a short time …

Have you tried to restart your router ? i would wonder if its a router issue really

You should never post your public IP on a public forum. It invites the trolls to do nasty things.

I have no idea what kind of ghost stories you guys have been reading, but you can’t really do much with a public IP if you have a semi-decent firewall.

Except clog it up and knock them offline, with a DoS, a DDoS, or even worse, a DRDoS.

Why invite trouble? Plus theres no need for him to post his IP. Blizzard staff already have it. Its not as if his ISP or Blizzard are going to discuss his routes with you.
