Can't interact with NPCs @The Obsidian Throne

I am unable to interact with any NPCs / Vendors / Quartermasters at The Obsidian Throne!
This includes Dealer Vexil in the cave.
After a few days of farming, delivering keys to different NPCs, doing WQs, rare elites etc, this suddenly became a problem.

I have tried removing addons, relogging, repairing game etc… nothing works.
According to wowhead… several players have the same issue.

Any suggestions? All requirements like questlines etc have been met.

Okay so killing the spider rare when the event spawned somehow let me interact with the quartermasters after.
