Can't join my TW Dungeon because I'm not level 73

https://i.imgur.com/WmC4Ksr.jpeg

What is this nonsense? I queued, got in a group, couldn’t join the dungeon.
And now I can’t queue for any more dungeons because there’s a delay between each Group Finder application.

The “small indie company” meme is tired at this point, yet how come it remains that relevant?

Are you in chromie time by any chance?. I had a similar issue when I was leveling an alt in wod. I couldn’t enter burning crusade tw. I had to leave chromie time then all was good.

Yes, I am.
Thanks for your suggestion, I’ll give it a shot.

It doesn’t feel nice to pay that much to be a beta tester though.

All is here

While it may be documented… that doesn’t make it intuitive.

An actual fix would be nicer than a guide in this case :pensive:

At least we have enough experience on the forums to help with this one.

Would be good if the game told you to get your tushy out of Chromie time.

Would be good if Timewalking was working properly, even in Chromie time.

It’s sad that you seem to have known about this issue for so long without it being fixed.
“Level 73”, come on.

That’s the same game that charges you 30€ to faction change a single character.

not being able to queue for TIMEWALKING dungeons in TIMEWALKING is kinda funny

I think the problem is that you’re already in a time altering state. But a popup warning from the system to leave Chromie time would be helpful.

you can already meet with other people in different timelines in dungeons after you spend 5 mins , which means they could make tw queue in timewalking happen

I think it’s more to do with a compound problem of already being in a Chromie phase then adding additional TW conditions to it.

But that’s my best guess. Would seem logical it’s technical limitation.

Unless something has changed, Chromie time was always a separate phase with different conditions.

Up to now chromie has always ended as timewalking becomes available. At least since the squish. Probably an unintended side effect

It’s a strange bug and possibly does not effect everyone. I leveled two alts both were in Chromie time and as soon as i hit level 35 i could do Timewalking without leaving Chromie time and had no problems entering the instances. So i wonder if there’s more to it than just Chromie time, or perhaps only certain Chromie times cause it.

Chromie time is nothing like Timewalking at all completely different.

Its because of the recent change of level needed for each “timezone” it used to be level 60 and item level 184 to enter , now each one has a new level for example

TBC 30
WOTLK 30
CATA 35
WOD 40
Legion 45

people asked for these levels back now there are annoyed they have to do a lil something to use them.

I figured it was something like that but wonder why i don’t seem to get the problem others have reported (at least not so far)

I once did The Deaths of Chromie while in Chromie time, mobs got scaled to my native level while I got scaled to the instance’s level. What followed is me getting stomped pretty hard. So no, I wouldn’t recommend timewalking while timewalking.
