Yeah the ugly eye is the main reason why I’m thinking about just doing the quest.
I like the idea of keeping the curse, but having it put that ugly thing on your head is something I’m not a fan of.

The char panel item slot shows me as still wearing the helm I have on the character and what it’s transmogged to but not the visual of the character itself in the character panel or in-game. I’d hope once the crucible is open, finishing that will remove it.

Go do one of the Naga invasion WQs and it will drop the quest from a mob :wink:

Does the eye cover over your helmet or do you get to keep the helmet with the added eye?

The eye overwrites your head mog.

One way to get your head mog back is to change your hairstyle at the barber, but when you log out/in or unequip/re-equip your headpiece the eye overwrites it again. Better to find a mog that fits with the eye if you want to keep the gift. But, people without the gift will probably see your head mog instead of the eye.

I’m keeping it for now. There is always a slim chance of something happening.

Thanks for the info, I want to keep the eye but not to lose my hat. I’ll just wait to do that quest until it’s fixed or something then!

If you change your hair while under the effect of “Gift of N’zoth”, you lose that hideous crown but keep the buff.

Yep, when you log out and back in it’s there again. It also comes back when you switch headpieces or unequip/re-equip your current headpiece.

Awwwww lame, I hope it gets fixed somehow or I’m gonna have to spend quite a lot of gold on that

If you dislike the eye, but want to keep the buff, you can use Don Carlos’ Famous Head toy, it overrides the eye visual. Also gives you a nice ghostly pet as long as you have it equipped. Safari Hat and Spitzy override it as well. There might be more toys,i don’t know :slight_smile:
