After finishing the PvP Brawl “Comp Stomp”, I’m unable to leave the battleground. Nothing seems to work. I can’t /afk out, I can’t log out and I can’t exit the game.
I need to right-click the WoW-icon on the desktop and then log in again. This is really annoying.
This is not just a problem for me. Atleast more than half of the people in my team complained about this after the match finished, and some said they had the same problem in their previous Comp Stomp match.

The problem you described has been reported already and is being looked into. We have no details to share for now, but crossing fingers it won’t take much to have it fixed!
Meanwhile though I have to confirm that the only workaround would be forcing the game to close (Alt+f4 is the easiest option) and the relog 
I found that relogging immediately does not solve the issue, you’ll just be back at the battleground and stuck again. Guess you will need to wait till your character gets a reset that will boot them out of the battleground or wait until they close by default?
alt f4 and wait 1 min and you can get back into the game
Mass reporting afk seems to work for some people
Another bug: I sign up as healer, but still get called to battle as damage dealer and I can’t change inside the battleground.

We do not have any reports of issues with the roles getting messed up when queueing up for a Battleground, so just make sure that you have the DPS role unchecked when queueing up to make sure that you are just queueing as a healer.
You can also make sure to perform a game interface reset to rule out any interface issues when queueing up.
If this issue continues to happen after all those steps, just report it ingame as a bug.

Paying to be stuck in an empty battleground .
At least give us the option to move so we can roleplay with the last survivors.
Btw , alt + f4 aint working , its the first thing ive tried .
For everyone struggling with getting out of the Brawl, just type:
/run LFGTeleport(true);
in the chat window. It will trigger the teleport out and you can queue up again.

Works, but case sensitive.
I can confirm this issue. I queued up as tank, got in as DPS. Another player in my group got in as tank, while queuing up as DPS.
They disabled Com Stomp
Has Comp Stomp been swapped with Arathi blizzard while the issue is happening or was it last week’s brawl?
Last week was Ashran. It was swapped because of the bugs stated above. Comp Stomp will return next week.
