I could connect to the battle net news page when you have WoW selected so maybe the issue is fixed, trying to log into game now.
After three days of failure, the game finally works! Vectra, Poland.
Yup, itâs working, for nowâŚ
Good to know. Had to use phone Play wifi for WoW over the weeken.
Hi, I can confirm it`s working for Vectra. I also noticed some changes in routing to WoW serves have been done.
Previously for years we were routed via:
RETN Warsawâ> Frankfurt.
Now I can see we are routed via:
LeveL3 Poland â Budapestâ> Amsterdam.
Average ping seems to be the same it was. Hope this new routing will help with all the disconnects we had on the old one.
Are you able to provide ip/host to test how am I routed?
thank you
Check one of below:
185.60.112.157
185.60.112.158
I requested to change that route in Janury this year
it was going via Budapest before
in January they changed from Warsaw to Frankfurt
wow game servers are in Netherlands
it was obviously better via Frankfurt
they probably restored default route as an effort to fix connection problems, on saturday probably, but it did not help
do you know who fixed that it works now btw ?
no way route to Netherlands from central Poland is better via Budapest than Via Frankfurt, it is good line from Warsaw to Frankfurt, it was working bad via Budapest before January, expect problems via Budapest if they do not go back via Frankfurt
there were big latency spikes via Budapest always and frequent latency going worse, from January it was much better via Frankfurt, UPC provider has that good line from Poznan to Netherlands for instance, via Budapest is bad it is weak and obviously very indirect line
I´m getting sick of Blizzard sitting on their hands and not giving us a update or fix the issue for that matter, anyone know a good non blizzard online game with a competent customer service?
For previous posters, the problem was indeed on the ISP routing and not Blizzard owned network. Vectra had it on their maintenance schedule:
It is now re-routed through a different node:
Additional maintenance by Vectra may be underway to see if the old node can be fixed before routing through Frankfurt again.
Edit: Other countries and ISPâs still continue to have issues.
lies,
route via Frankfurt was working from January in Vectra, and there was no problems
they changed that route to via Budapest on Saturday, and it did not solve the issue
problem was fixed on Monday by some other means
stop misinforming people to defend Blizzard
this was obviously some other issue
most likely some unreasonable security setting in Blizzard dropping connections
btw route from Poland to Netherlands via bad line in Budapest makes perfect sense and that must be working good, whatever
I will get information from Vectra and post here what was the real issue
I honestly do not care who fixed this problem Blizzard Vectra or whoever, the important thing is that the game works perfectly again and you can continue to play.
how do i check routes? people in sweden still have this issue. We are stuck
i cant log in but i can update my game :((( and i dont even know what to do i did everything said , and some more . but i still cant access my account
Country: UK
ISP: Vodafone
Battlenet app gets stuck on 25% trying to connect to update agent on install. Tried everything I can think of including the suggested stuff above. Also with the game very slow loading time once the app is installed. All issues go away if VPN is used. Weirdly, we have another pc on this network running battle.net fine with none of the issues experienced here so completely stumped.
Erm, this is a thread about people not being able to log in to battlenet. not about updating battlenet.
You might want to start your own thread about your (totally different) problem, as it might not get noticed by the staff since its posted in a wrong thread.
