Can't log into the game, stuck on login or "world server down" error (Battle.net app login is fine)

hello, since two days i have problem with conection. Cant log in to the game- WOW51900328. Tryed everythink, removed addons, scan and repair, reinstall.
Internet conection was fine. I tryed on laptop same issue.
On last resort i switched wifi connection on my laptop from home router to phone hotspot and problem disapeared. But when i came back to router still cant log in.
Any chances some1 can help with this one ?

Players from PL (Vectra) or Swe (Tele2) + some other IPS are waiting for Blizzard’s statemet. We all have the same connection problem since friday’s evening

Trick question: WOuld them now posting" we do not have any furtther information to share at this time" appease you , or merely further your disappoiintment?

If the latter is the answer, and it generally will be, then you now understand why CS in every company, not just Blizzard, does not communicate when there is ntohing to communicate. Because all it does i get them called lazy by clueless users.

Therefore the general rule when dealing with any IT company is No communication = We have nothing to add at this time… just without forcing domeone to stop their workfloiw just to waste time and bandwidth on an email /forum post that says nothing that wasn’t already obvious and only provides a welcome target for continued staff abuse by the userbase :wink:

but they could write that they are working on solving the problem, instead of giving stupid advice like check your connection, reinstall the game, etc. Let them get the hell out of here with such nonsense

Sorry that many of you have been unable to connect to Battle.net and in-game over the weekend. Looking at this thread, and the other one, it looks like this issue is affecting players from a couple of countries, on a couple of ISPs. Some have confirmed that using a VPN solves the issue, which would generally indicate that there is a routing issue with your connection and your ISP, when trying to reach our servers.

While that is something that would usually fall outside of out network and scope of support, we’ve alerted our engineers so that they may check this issue on their end. We’ll try to update you if we have more information.

On your end, please do continue to follow this guide, and contact your internet service provider if the issue persists:

When posting here, you can also provide the following information: your country, your ISP, and what appears to be the exact issue (i.e. can’t connect to BattleNet, or getting an error in WoW, such as World Server Down).

I decided to return to WoW because they opened a fresh Classic realm. I thought that since my last adventure, the game would finally run smoothly, but instead, I’m facing issues like this. Since Friday, I haven’t been able to log into WoW due to the wow51900328 error, and when I do manage to get to my character, it says “world server down.” You’ve wasted the best time for playing (the weekend), and the worst part is that I’m paying for time during which I can’t play. We probably won’t get any compensation for the wasted money. It makes me really sad that my favorite game is being managed this way. Many F2P titles I played in the meantime have better support services.

I’m too stuck on the loading screens in any Blizzard game and I’m using Vectra in Poland too.

I can’t even open links that are eu.battle.net - so linking them won’t work if there is a solution there (for the “internet problems”).
Any other game or service is working fine for me, the only one that’s not - it’s Blizzard applications and site mentioned above.

The problem persists since friday.
The only time I somehow logged to the WoW server Sporeggar was when I restarted my router. Which helped for like 1 second, cause inside the game when the instance changed the game timed me out too, saying the instance is invalid.

I doubt our internet providers can fix it - cause like I said, everything other than Blizzard applications or sites, just work as intended.
When I traced IP of eu.battle.net just to see where it gets cut off, it gets timed out in Amsterdam1 Level(3) server - there is no response.

Hope it can get fixed soon, cause that’s disappointing.

Not gonna buy vpn just for sake of your games, rather just cancel. POE 2 runs with no problem.

To anyone reading this in depths of this post. This is not your pc problem. This is purely blizzard-poland providers issue. We are on mercy of their, whatever they do to fix this. Statement from blizzard would be nice but this is blizzard we talk about, considering this is paid service we should at least get some information about this and apology.

So what now>? Are we quitting wow or we get some, any news on what or when it might get fixed?

Same issue here. Unable to play.

After 4 days when the game we pay for doesn’t work, we get information from the admin that they are “doing something” about it, a link to “troubleshooting” and information that if nothing changes we should contact our internet providers, pathetic.

yee i think the same… xDDD 4 days burger master spoke and everything is wrong in our side but not at blizzard haha

what will be the compensation for these 4 days without playing or will you, as usual, sweep everything under the rug and nothing happened?

Since friday - I can not play WOW Retail or Classic, both start with error in game: “Transfer Aborted: Instance not found” and then sometimes “World Server Down”. I can only log into warband/character screen, and after that i stuck on loading screen.
Can’t open eu.battle.net links.
Other games work normal.

Sometimes Poland ISP use Vectra’s cable infrastructure (Multimedia, Play, T-mobile, Orange).

I’ve contacted Vectra.
They seem to know about the issue and have it listed for fixing in the upcoming day (today/tomorrow).
I hope they will manage to do so, and that it will work for everybody using their infrastructure and having this problem…

for these four days since retail stopped working I played on wow classic but from today I can’t even connect there, it’s getting better…

Hey I managed to login on my Rogue after 3 days and I cannot use the Heartstone and portal to Dorongal - the error is “instance not found”. Rouge is the only character that I can login right now and he is in Orgrimmar, other two chars are in Dorongal and when I’m trying to login on them the loading screen takes forever.

We should be happy if they fix the problem at all, because if it doesn’t affect a million players then there is no problem, we can forget about compensation, they will just invite us to buy an additional subscription.

Do not try to blame ISP, problem is on your side. Any of this posted advices will not help. I want gametime back. Some compensation will be nice too.
