I have the exact same problem as Belgrom since yesterday evening. I was planning to play diablo 2 this weekend, but it’s not possible to play on the European server. I live in Gdansk (Northern Poland).
I use Avast Secureline VPN (part of Avast Ultimate)
Still no answer from Blizzard, nothing on X, can’t even contact support. We won’t get anything for recompensation and probably hear something like “don’t you guys have different internet providers?” They really don’t want anyone playing their games.
And we will get nothing in return. Can’t even write a ticket about it or ask for a refund because support is not working too.
same situation - Poland + VECTRA, I tried scan & fix, interface reset and only VPN does the magic
Symptoms:
- I can connect to wow Turalyon-EU server and play with no issues
- I can NOT connect to Stormscale-EU, error WOW51900328 while logging to server
- I can connect to any host on the internet I can find
- some time ago my internet provider set DIFFERENT ROUTE to wow servers Blizzard was publishing 185.60.112.157, 185.60.112.158, 185.60.114.159. This was well over a year ago and everything was working fine with that route. Default route was very indirect and causing lags and high ping.
- please check if different route to IP’s from 4. does not cause problems on your side, I can ping any IP I can find with no issues
- Battle net application is also having connection issues to some hosts for me, some things work, some does not in battle net app
- Poland Vectra or Multimedia providers
THE ONLY THINGS THAT DOES NOT WORK ON THE INTERNET ARE SOME BLIZZARD SERVICES, I CAN PLAY ON Turalyon-EU as example with no issues
Blizzard infrastructure is spread all over the place, provider will not be able to do anything reasonable with this, Blizzard provides no IP’s to all their services
Hm… 100% same situation - Vectra(Poland).
Can’t play WoW-Retail, but i can play WoW Classic Anniversary (just create new character for test).
With VPN works fine, but ping is ~200-300ms. What VPN do You guys use?

After some time (~30mints) play WoW Classis Anniversary, an error occurred “Transfer Aborted: Instance not found” … And this is END no more play…
Got same issue… Vectra Poland. Wasted 2 days already…

bump my separate post. I think I know what the problem is. I asked for this change of route well over a year ago. It was working all well.
But it is possible Blizzard changed something and that different route to some hosts is causing a problem now. It should not technically. But that is probably it.
can ping these IP’s with no problem still on that route, this is much better more direct route. Default was going to Amsterdam via Budapest, better route they set is from Warsaw to Frankfurt.
Hello. Same issue here. The only way to by-pass it so far was using VPN or logging to WOW manually without Battle.net involved.
I’m also from Vectra/Multimedia.
But still. It’s ridiculous.
it is just that you can connect to some blizzard things, and can’t to some others.
To me it looks that blizzard changed something in network or security configuration on Friday.
And now different internet routes are causing problems with connecting to some blizzard services.
i did evertyhing also reset my laptop to defoult and download again… still nothing

It is problem likely in Blizzard
or less likely in some internet infrastructure in Europe
please respond to my Topic outside of this one, I believe I am technically on the issue with my descriptions, tested what happening in detail and this can help to solve issues
If you can log into the forums, then you can open tickets and view your existing ones via the “Support” selection under your Battle.net account, you do not need to be able to access the game to write a ticket about not being able to access it
I know that but the page in-game and on browser don’t load up.

I am creating this post, so there are more eyes to it. From Friday many people using some internet providers (in Poland it is Vectra) can’t use many Blizzard services like WoW, BattleNet app, BattleNet sites sometimes etc.
Please Blizzard look into it. Forums are now flooding with posts like this.
