Can't login "a character with that name already exists bug"

Hi !

Character name is “Rispa” 70lv druid

I receive the error “a character with that name already exists bug”
Troubleshooting I’ve tried :

  • logged into a different character then fully logged out of the game, error persists
  • Reset my interface, deleted all addons

Please look into this in a timely fashion as it’s the weekend and it’s very frustrating

I am also receiving this error on a new Death Knight character “Elrora” lvl 59.

I have tried all of the same methods as above and no luck.
