Can't Login to Character "A Character with that name already exists"

Hi there,

When I try to login to my lvl 59 Dranei DK charcter “Elrora” on Pyrewood Village EU (Wotlk Classic), an error appears and tells me that “A Character with this name already exists”.

I have tried the recommended troubleshooting options including:

  1. Try logging into a different character and then logging fully out of the game
  2. Reset your user interface to make sure your files and addons are not corrupted
  3. You may need to wait to allow the server to remove the character, which happens after 30 minutes of inactivity

Please can you provide some support.

Try unstucking the toon here and if that doesn’t work, create a ticket for help.

I’ve the same issue with my Dranei DK, opened a ticket, waiting for a solution.
