As much as i like playing wow i sometimes want to logout. Like now. And few times yesterday. When i press logout nothing happens, i have to ALT F4 to get out.
And when this occur everything is mega lagging like i have been logged out but the char is not leaving the game.

its the same on silvermoon and it wont retrieve other realms
Same on Moonglade (EU). After Alt F4, trying to log in with the same character gives “A character with that name already exists.”

Logout has been “bugged” for a couple of days, also gettinng the problem with retrieving realm list
I am also unable to logout or exit the game the proper way. Tried with multiple characters @ Shattered Hand. Attempting to log back on to the affected character returned an error that the character could not be found.
Having same issue and the black screen on character selection bug also . What I have found is that in both cases it takes time (some times A LOT OF TIME) to log out or to get your characters to appear when logging in . It seems that the authentication server is lagging
