Cant macro Doom winds cause it pick the legendary helm from SL instead

I have been trying to look for a fix as to how i could macro Doom Winds to use it with a trinket but i havent been able to find anything.

Short answer: You can’t make any kind of macro with Doom Winds.

Long answer: It’s been an issue because of Shadowlands. There’s a legendary power called Doom Winds. For whatever reason, using /cast Doom Winds in a macro calls that ability, rather than the spell that was added later in Dragonflight that we’d actually want to macro. And because we can’t use SpellID in our macros, the game will assume by default that we want to use the Shadowlands legendary rather than the spell we have now.

this worked fine for me, i don’t have no legendary tho but this worked
