Options are either PvE, or the one full PvP server. Really wanted to go horde on RPPvP but seems I can’t since I’m late to the party. Is this faction balance thing going to be a permanent thing? I’m not sure if it’s better to wait or to just make a character on the one PvP server that allows it now before that gets faction locked as well.

It’s just that many of the alliance’s pve chickens have transferred their characters to a PVE server. Wait a bit and you will be able to create a character on the server you need.

yes ‘‘chickens’’ have transferred when the only transfer offered is a pve server, you really nailed it, they really screwed us over, first most ppl try to create on lone wolf or any big pvp server but it’s all locked then we go to the smaller pvp servers and they die out and then only transfer that is offered is a PVE realm…
the fact they are pulling this after what happened when they did the same thing in 2019 is… interesting.
at least this time there’s faction lock in place so it might not have the same giga exodus.
still really disliking this though. you should never get to benefit from playing on a pvp server and then get to move all that gank/whatever progress to a carebear pve server where you’ll be ahead of everyone else because you enjoyed being able to gank while the people on the server you transfer to could not do the same, and thus the general population of the server will be lower rank than the pvp’er who moved there.
there’s more problems to this than just muh FaCtIoN BaLaNcE. all it really requires is for anyone to think about it for more than 10 seconds to stumple on numerous issues.
