Does anyone know why I just straight-up wouldn’t be able to mount at all during the Tindral Sageswift fight? I pick up the feather buff but it still won’t let me mount up. Same at the end of the fight when you move on to fight Fyrakk. Just got left behind by the raid and loot locked despite not fighting the boss. I checked in my mount menu at the time and every mount was red and “can’t be used here”. I googled around a bit but it’s mostly people struggling to use specific macros and I’m not using any.

You need to be in the right flight stance before the fight starts.
So before going up to Tindral make sure you swap to Skyriding mode. If you are in Steady Flight mode when the fight starts, you will not be able to make use of any of the feathers even if you swap once the fight has started. A portal will appear to move you to the next platform.
However I was left stranded and unable to get to Fyrakk without a summon. Another time I forgot to change flight stance I just got no loot from Fyrakk because I simply couldn’t get there before people pulled.
I did a bug report in game to let the Devs know that this doesn’t currently work with the introduction of the flight toggle. You could also submit one
- Press Esc or click the ? button to open the menu.
- Click Support.
- Click Submit feedback or bug report.
- Enter the details of the bug into the Submit a bug description box, making sure to follow the guidelines outlined on the submission form.
- Click Submit.
