A bug appear in 7.3
Can't release corpse, the button is disabled and grey.
That can happen and when it's happen, the only way to fix it is to restart the game (or claim a ressurect from a player).
I never encounter that, the only way to get this button grey is when your corpse continue to run in the world (like dying in the Twisting Nether and fall).
Probably a bug. I encounter it in the French WoW client.

If this continues to happen, try and clear your UI (addons) and repair the game files. Once you have done that, test things out again.

this bug is still not fixed.
i just got this aswell.Pretty frustrating to say the least.
Happend to me as well, just now. No Addons loaded.
So what you s solution I have it today

If the command /script RepopMe() does not help out, try relogging (log out and back in again). Note that in some cases, addons could interfere with this as well. If this happens again, go through the steps to clear your UI (addons).
If neither of those options help and you are not able to play on your character normally again (unable to resurrect), contact support for assistance.

Login your ohter character and open ticket window there is an option (move character ) that can instantly move your main to orgimmar
happened in rated BG. Ruined game. fix your game. Now i cannot even login says a charater with similar name exists.
it is still happening and in M+ it is a nightmare
