The good news is, that things can now only get better since there is litterally nothing left for you to feck up.

The new forums have a new “Trust level” function that determines your capabilities on posting whether it be replying, posting images and links.
If you just started to post, and this is your first time here on the new forums browse around a little and spend some time on them to get to Trust level 1.
Doesn’t take that long.

Scroll your mouse to the top right of the screen and click on ‘Account’.
The first option will be highlighted in blue and sat ‘Log In’, click on this and wait a few seconds and hey presto, the ‘reply’ option will now be available to you :).

People have given a few things to fix this, one is changing your password, another is logging out of the old forums, making sure you are logged in here is also one.

too bad that it changes to a random character of yours and if you want to post on your old forum character you always used the reply option disappears again.
i have to change my character to an other but the one i have used on the forums before to be able to reply to anything now.
definetely bugged so it would be nice if blizzard would fix this.

I would say that it’s a bug in the new forum.
After a while you get logged out and you have to log in again but if you change your forum avatar it logs you right back out.
I would guess the new forum system is for posting on an account and can’t handle there being several forum avatars on one account.

Clearing browser cookies history and catche isnt solved same problem for me.
Logging out and logging in from forum solved it for me.

This just happened to me, couldn’t reply to anything on the general discussion forum, the “reply” function simply wasn’t showing up.
i logged out and then in and that solved the problem for me, hence i can now reply on this

I can reply, but not with my main profile. It keeps logging me in to a random character, when I use “change character” the forum doesnt recognize me as logged in so when I again choose “log in” in the menu it swaps back to a random character again.
