Can't rescue Koltira from his Undercity prison

Hi there,

A few expansions ago, there was a quest line in Andorhal that ended with Koltira Deathweaver being taken away to Undercity. Sylvanas got pissed off about him having a human friend whose affiliated with the Alliance, and saw fit to capture him.

I read that there was a sequel quest (titled " A Personal Request") in Legion, and levelled a DK character for the purpose of saving poor Koltira. However, the quest isn’t offered to my DK. I can’t even see Thassarian in Acherus.

My DK is currently level 103, which is the minimum for the quest as per WoWhead description. I’m wondering if there’s another prerequisite I missed to get this quest?

I obtained 2/3 of the DK spec artifact weapons - perhaps I need all 3 to unlock this? It should be noted that I don’t see to have access to the mission table there either. I really think I’m missing something.

Any tips would be appreciated.

It’s part of the DK campaign, just keep progressing and it will happen. It’s cool

I think you also need to do the first step of retrieving the X’era core thingy that Khadgar sends you on when you get 102 for the campaign to continue, otherwise you should not need all weapons for this. keep a look out for orange question marks and you should get to where you wanna go.

keep doing all the DK quests in acherus and it will pop up

tbh, DK legion story was among the best if not the best

Thanks, guys. I was able to save Koltira eventually. I now make sure to only send him on missions with his bro Thassarian, since they’re BFFs and would probably prefer to fight together.
