Recently I started having this maddening issue:
Seemingly randomly, guildmates “lose” their name.
I can see what they’re typing in Guilds&Communities interface, BUT their name only shows up as empty brackets ( like [ ]: hey).
In actual chatbox through, messages from people missing a name do not show up AT ALL - I can only see the other people responding to them, and they can see that person just fine.
Checked and preventively emptied Ignore list, but yeah, obviously wasn’t ignoring my guildmates in the first place.
I’ve tried /reload. Didn’t do anything.
I’ve tried restarting WoW. Didn’t do anything.
I’ve tried disabling addon that changes my chatbox. Didn’t do anything.
Anyone else got this issue? Or knows how to fix it?
