I have conro to help me and using the mythic+ spec on ice but i can;t seem to get good dps at all, my gear is 390 ish and I can’t seem to get more than 20-30k on ST and AOE not much higher… It feels slow, clunky and awkward.
Still target isnt great, im 396 and i’m not doing much more than 35k on single target bosses, might tip 40k just, if im lucky, one thing boomie excels at is, large pulls and spread aoe, thats about it.
Got 4 piece already? Without tier, balance is absolute dog tier
1- get 4set, by any means, seriously, it’s 15 % free damage
2- get a high level weapon. Your trinkets are fine.
3- get a lariat.
Rotation wise, look at naguura and tettles videos.
This will bring you up to speed.
Other than that - you’ll never top the meters in single target, and burst aoe is still going to be crappy.
You’re only allowed to have fun in 2 scenarios this patch : high fortified keys (and high keys in general to a certain extent, 18+ when things lives longer) and primal council
That might be one off the issues.
Those rotation addons are nonsense.
Why did the devs choose to make moonkin so weak? it’s survivability is also very bad. my feral can pull multiple elites easy and my boomkin gets destroyed.
Problem with that is, they have plenty of Utility and thats what people see, but you cant touch a mob if you use it, if you Mass Entangle, Entangle or Incap Roar, any damage will break it, They expect you to kite, build distance then damage, cc then do the same, Not tank and spank, which is all fine and well, till you meet mobs immune to it. Then your screwed.
I do World Content as guardian, faster and easier.
I couldnt imagine trying to pvp as a moonkin…
Pvp is like. Use your burst - > hope you get a kill - > sit in bear and wait for burst - > use burst and hope you kill one and so
how do you burst? isnt boomking ramp up damage? spamming weak spells then dots etc to get astral power then get 2-3 surges off lol?
