I’m somewhat new to the game and have been puzzled by this issue that I’ve been having…
For a few days now I’ve been unable to send join requests in group finder. The finder only gives me the option for “Group Invite” instead of “Request to Join” as it used to. The only occasion in which I can send requests is if a group already has more than one member listed. For any groups listed with only one member, only the group invite option is available. I have no idea why it’s like this now, I used to have no problems with sending requests to any groups listed. Any ideas regarding would be much appreciated…

The first part of your post makes it sound as though you’re stuck in an invisible group … though I’m not sure that would apply to it working when more than one member is listed.
You can try copy/pasting this in the chat box: /script C_PartyInfo.LeaveParty() which may or may not work in classic. If it doesn’t try /script LeaveParty()
If that doesn’t work you may need to make a ticket unless anyone else has ideas

Yeah, this was one of first things that I thought of as well and tried /script LeaveParty() but to no avail. I did also make a ticket yesterday but with the month long wait times I was hoping that someone on the forums might have encountered this before.
Make sure you mention what you’ve already tried in your ticket. If you didn’t, you can add to it. Don’t close it and start a new one. Or, as you say, someone else might have an idea
