Gul’dan I could then and (just can now). Antorus was not soloable for all but the most committed in bfa but it is two xpacs old now and should be soloable by now. That is my point. And no I don’t expect someone is fresh greens to be able to do it even at 60, but someone around ilvl 200 should be able to.
The fact that Gul’dan is not soloable by the majority of the player base should ring alarm bells, shouldn’t it?
I agree 100% it is broken. My point was that I was barely able to solo those first two bosses, I expect to solo it easily and not only those two but all legion mythic raids. I would expect that difficulty in BFA raids - that means I should be able to do everything but mythic now. And that difficulty is now in Legion raids and BFA are not doable at all. It is very broken, I agree.
And tbh, I was able to down Goroth only because of my self heals, can see that many classes would not be able. And they should. Everybody whose arguing with “get better gear” are just wrong. I was easily soloing old content in BFA with trash gear. I can’t do it now so yes it is broken, Blizzard just have a problem to admit that and bigger problem to fix that.
Also for those who have git gud argument: how do you explain that my undergeared lvl 50 alts have easier time soloing old raids than my 197ilvl geared 60 paladin?
Farming older content is a massive part of the game for many people and one of the reasons why WoW is just not ‘working’ for me right now.
This is the main reason why I’m not logging into WoW much atm. Running old content was a very enjoyable break from the grind of levelling all my alts and now that is not an option. I rarely run an expansion’s current dungeons and raids so for me it is all new content that I now cannot access solo.
