Recruited my friend, he bought 1 month of game time but I’m still unable to summon him. The warning follows: You can only summon players who are linked to you through Recruit a Friend.
Verify if you’ve correctly linked your friend through RAF:
No purchase necessary for summoning.
Yes, he is on the ‘‘Recruited Friends’’ list but I still can’t summon him.
Are you sure he’s on the right account that was recruited and did not create another account by accident?
Additionally: RAF Summons is only available in WoW Retail and not WoW Classic.
Yes, pretty sure. Also, we’re trying out on WoW Retail. But there’s something, he has 2 seperate WoW accounts WoW 1 and 2. Could they be overlapping, causing the RAF to fail?
Yea this is what I suspected, RAF invites only applies to 1 game license. Make sure he’s logged into the right WoW game license that has RAF on it.
The follow restrictions applies to the game licenses if unlinked:
- Your friend’s account is new, created in the last 7 days.
- Your friend hasn’t paid for game time for over 24 months. If your friend has returned and paid for game time in the last 7 days, they are still eligible to accept your invite.
You can re-use the same invite link you gave your friend if he wants to play on the other WoW numbered game license.
Thank you for your help but I think it’s the best to contact a GM because he already bought 1 months of game time.
