So this. Why is even a thing?
It’s a joy, isn’t it. I would prefer it carried the remaining cooldown over to the spell it’s being replaced with.
The spell on CD can just finish its CD in background or when selected again
So that you can’t use a talent with CD, swap to a different talent, use that instead while the first is on CD, and then swap back to the first one when it’s ready to be used again.
Pretty much
Always think… how can this be abused. And it would.
But you can switch to other spec and game would not care…
this here =)
I did think about abusing this, however I’m not saying reset the CD on loadout switch, I’m saying allow switch and keep the CD in the background or whatever.
This would be great.
It’s especially annoying for classes (like assa rogue) where you’re forced to play totally different builds for AoE or ST damage; would be nice to be able to quickly switch between builds for bosses after trash in raids (and they should also allow it in M+!), but the CDs usually prevent that or make it annoying as you have to wait for/take care not to use big CDs. I’d be totally fine to keep CDs in the back ground and for them to only continue ticking after switching back to said build/talent.
Surely in raids you can just reset the boss?
It adds friction which makes you enjoy the game more.
