Hi all. I’m trying to complete Hyjal storyline to be able to tame spirit beasts. I can’t start Warchief’s Command: Mount Hyjal! because i don’t have it on the board. I checked completion using wowhead script and it says “false”. I found that somebody wasn’t able to take that quest as well because The Eye of the Storm quest wasn’t completed. I checked with script and i can see that i didn’t complete The Eye of the Storm yet, but i can’t take it from Farseer Krogar - i just don’t have that option at all. Do you know how i can do that story line to be able to tame pets now?

I see a comment from last year on Wowhead:
If you are like me and are clearing a bunch of old quests and achievements and are level 70, but can’t seems to access the Hyjal questlines. See Chromie in Stormshield around 55 19 or Orgrimmar 40 80. Even though Chromie time doesn’t apply to characters over 60. Chat with Chromie and ask to pick a timeline. Nothing will happen because you are too high of a level, but for some reason after I did that, I went back to Hyjal and the area was reset to the Cataclysm time.

Alliance players: As of BfA, the Cataclysm version of Hyjal is now gated behind a BfA quest, so if you’re looking for a breadcrumb quest to start the chain you won’t find one, and if you go to Hyjal all you’ll find are level 120 mobs and no Cataclysm quests, nor is there an NPC who can reset the zone to a pre-BfA state.
If you wish to do the Cataclysm questlines, you’ll first need to:
Talk to Magni, who is in the wargame chamber next to the throne room in Stormwind castle.
Magni will send you to Silithus so you can pick up another quest from him.
In Silithis, you only need to pick up the quest “A Fresh Trauma.” (I have no idea how much of BfA needs to be completed before this quest is available - apologies)
Go to Hyjal, speak to Magni, do the quest, return to Silithus.
5, Turn in your quest to Mother.
You are now free to return to Hyjal, where everything’s back to normal and the Cataclysm quest givers await you.

Thank you! This is the same for Horde as well btw. Was trying to find the Dragonwrath questline and couldn’t figure out why Kalecgos was missing.

Tried to talk to Chromie but it didn’t help. I still don’t have any quests from Blackhoof or Krogar.
For the second option - I’m a horde so i don’t think i can do anything in Stormwind tbh. I see that it says that this is the same for Horde, but i can’t take it
I don’t know that this will work, but Party Sync sometimes does.
If I make an alt, take Cata from Chromie, start, then you Party Sync, I might be able to share the quest and you might be able to keep it.

OK. I’ll be a bit irregular over the Christmas break, but I should be on for a while later afternoon/ evening tomorrow.
I got my Horde chaarcetr to 25, but can’t get any more time today. Need to be 30 to take Hyjal quest for Cata Chromie Time. I’ll probably get there tomorrow.
P.S. Couldn’t sleep, so hit 30. Got Hyjal starter quest. We can try tomorrow.
