You reply is very lazy, no actions where taking for 3 seasons.
more than 13 people are talking about following the steps in your guide.
and how this is ruining their game experience with their friends.
We all made tickets and we all made the steps in the guide, and WE ALL STILL HAVE THE PROBLEM,
and yet you are just replying and posting generated response to avoid the responsibility of taking this seriously,
How can you respond by “We’re not aware of a bug that would make tradable items or loot”
When all this people here are complaining about it politely ? i find this very insulting, and non professional.
i spent more than a month going back and forth with gm, created ,more than 3 tickets,
and you are still UNWARE…
Can you provide us prof that developers are aware of this, because you colleagues that i have contacted already assured me that it will once i have created a ticket.
Hi, the solution to this bug on windows is to change date+time settings to “Set time automatically” instead of manual. The trade tooltips will return and you will be able to trade as normal.
In this very specific case the problem seems to be not with the game files, but in the way the game interacts with your clock to enable the trade timer tooltip. So the usual suggested fixes such as disabling addons, deleting interface/wtf/cache folders, or even reinstalling the game will not work to solve it. Hope this helps.
Guys i can confirm that issue has been solved for me after reading a comment about changing time from Manual to Automatic , i hope u guys could fix ur issue as well , im still in shock that all this time problem was so stupid. HOW IN THE HELL IS THIS CONNECTED i have no idea , im just edited by moderatorhappy that i can finally help guildys in keys again!
From technical PoV: the WoW client likely checks if the item transfer is valid and prevents it from happening if not. Incorrect time can cause the check to fail. Server will almost certainly check the validity too so the client check is to just prevent unncessary server checks.
This is similar to the problem where most web sites will fail to open if the clock is entirely off due to SSL encryption failing.
