So I made a character of Stitches when Hardcore started, not knowing that all of the EU playerbase chose that too… Now I get a nice pop-up which says “Free Character Transfer” cause the realm is full.
But… I can’t transfer it to the other Hardcore realm apparently… Only to “normal” classic realms.
Can you change this? Then we can spread the playerbase a bit easier?

That is stupid! Transfer to Nekrosh would be the smart thing to do.

It’s even more stupid. The queues are full right now which means, you cannot even queue for the server.
I don’t get why the wont balance their two servers out with free transfers and make their comunity happy.
Offering a transfer to a non hc server is hilarious.
that selection was made from someone who does not not whats the difference between the servers.
btw. just spawm the reconnect button. i’m now in the queue. only 55min left.
srsly that we need to talk about that in 2023 is an embarassment for Blizzard.

Just create new character on Nek’Rosh. Consider it as if your Stuches character just died. Then after Stitches queues go down or your Nek’Rosh character dies you can go to Stitches and continue from where you left.

Yesterday the queue was only half an hour at around 17:00, at 15:00 there was no queue. So either login early or wait in the queue and do something else like mobile game, forums, emails. The hype will will be gone in 1-2 weeks.
Why should server management be the responsibility of the paying customers?
What if your boss doesn’t give you your paycheck this month and says “Just imagine you spent it already”?
You are paying for renting DF account. The service you are paying for is there and it is working. Read the terms.
HC is a free side project as well as Era and Wrath Classics that you get access to as a bonus. It may work poorly, but you technically never payed for it.
And on top of that Blizzard are giving you access to a project as a whole, not specifically a certain realm or character.
So IDK what salary are you talking about here.
The nearest example would be you going to the amusement park getting a pack of tickets to take any ride, but you wanted specific one that is currently malfunctioning and halted for repairs. Next to it there’s identical and functional attraction, maybe with slightly less fancy name, but it has no line to it, so you deside it is worse and stand in line for broken one untill it gets fixed, even though it can potentially kill you in an accident.

You chose a realm that was full and had queues from the start, you are only level 12, just start again, you are probably going to die anyway.

I’ve read that they could be adding achievements to Classic Hardcore.
May I suggest these achievements which should be easy to get on Stitches.
‘Queued with 500 others’, then ‘Queued with 1000 others’, or ‘logged in after queuing for more than 60 minutes’ << This last one should award a tortoise mount.
Can I log in, please?

The two realms have a very different economy. People moving with a massive gold stash / large amount of materials wouldn’t be good for either Stiches or Nek’Rosh.
You read wrong.
In the video with the developers they say they won’t add achievements, instead they added a buff system like Soul of Iron.
Actually, I never read that at all, wasn’t the point of the post
